German container line Hapag-Lloyd recently announced the suspension of its India Gulf Service 2 (IG2).
“The current situation in India is still enormously challenging – also for logistics companies like ours. This is why we unfortunately have to terminate our established India Gulf Service 2 (IG2). Nevertheless we will be able to offer you alternative weekly service offerings for Hazira – Jebel Ali by our existing feeder partners,” the company said in a statement.
The company said that the IG2 service will be terminated with the last two sailings listed below:
- Jebel Ali to Hazira: X-PRESS BRADSEY 20032, ETA Jebel Ali 29th July
- Hazira to Jebel Ali: SIMA GISSELE V 0003, ETA Hazira 31st July
