Spoton Logistics announced it has expanded its logistics network by scaling up logistics hubs in Indian cities Nagpur, Bengaluru, and Chennai, ahead of the festive season. The hubs will also support future growth in the regions, the company said.

Currently enabling the delivery of 17,500 consignment notes (about 1,40,000 pieces) each day, Spoton Logistics is expecting a significant surge this festive season with retail, e-commerce, and FMCG sectors driving the spike, it added.

Spoton Logistics says it offers a self-service portal where customers can place and track their orders. The all-in-one customer service web solution provides a single-window solution right from booking until Proof of Delivery (POD) is acknowledged. It also enables electronic execution of pick-up, e-way bill creation, and Part-B Updation, besides providing customers with informative dashboards and allowing for electronic payments.

Abhik Mitra, MD & CEO, Spoton Logistics said “With an increased adoption of e-commerce in the country, companies are betting big on online sales this festive season. The just-in-time expansion will help us significantly increase scalability for our customers while our web portal for them would ensure paperless and quick transactions.”

“We ended the month of June & July with a recovery of greater than 90 percent of pre-lockdown figures, and have surpassed our pre-Covid revenues during September. With the onset of the festive season, we are poised to further build on this momentum and have designed an effective roadmap for the same,” Mitra added.

Uday Sharma, COO, Spoton Logistics said, “Serving over 5,000 customers in India, we planned well in advance of the festive season to ensure increased efficiency and growth this year. We are confident that with the integration of technology and well-designed infrastructure, we will be able to capitalise on the festive season despite the challenges prevailing in the market.”
