With just days to go before its ‘Prime Day’ sale, Amazon India announced the launch of a new specialised Fulfilment Center (FC) for large appliances and furniture in Doraha, Ludhiana.
The launch of the new specialised fulfillment center, with a storage capacity of close to 3 lakh cubic feet, will allow Amazon India to offer its Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) service to thousands of small and medium businesses in the state and empower them to gain access to and service customers across the country. It will also enable faster and quicker delivery of products to Amazon India customers with a wider product selection this Prime Day, from August 06 and 07, 2020.
Prime Day will have offers across categories such as up to 60% off on TVs and appliances and up to 70% off on Furniture. There will also be new launches in the categories.

Amazon India recently announced plans to expand its fulfilment network by adding new Fulfilment Centers and expanding existing FCs, in 2020.
