Yashpal Sharma, who previously served as Honorary Secretary at Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI), has now been appointed to the post of Vice President.

Yashpal Sharma joined the family business of global logistics- Skyways Group in July 1995. Over the years, he has proved to be a dynamic leader and an accomplished strategic executor. He has been working closely with the organisation’s teams across regions and verticals since two and a half decades.

Established in 1983 as a customs broker, Skyways Group of Companies is now one of the top 2 Indian origin and top 50 global airfreight forwarders, with more than 17 offices across the country and an abroad office in Frankfurt, Germany. Over the span of 36 years, the organisation has developed a reputation of being a leader in the field of global logistics, successfully meeting the international freight & supply chain needs.

ACFI is committed to developing the country’s air cargo industry by engaging itself proactively with government and other regulatory agencies for simplifying and streamlining procedures and enhancing the level of ease of doing business in India. ACFI is already working with various aspect of air cargo development such as improving process efficiency, dwell time, infrastructure as well as skill development.

ACFI has established various taskforce pillars and working sub-committees headed by its expert members drawn from the respective segments of the air cargo logistics business to achieve its vision and objectives. The pillars detail action plan for ACFI to take up issues with appropriate authorities from time to time.
