India’s fastest-growing express logistics firm, Spoton has promoted Uday R Sharma as Chief Operating Officer, it said today. Uday is currently Director of Sales.
In the new role, Uday will assume greater charge of the company’s day-to-day sales and service delivery operations, demand planning, vendor alliances, and business process management. He will continue to report directly to Abhik Mitra, MD & CEO of Spoton Logistics.
Uday has been associated with Spoton since 2013 and is credited with driving the firm’s above industry average growth and profitability, and successful foray into high value market segments including SME, e-commerce and lifestyle. He has over two decades of express logistics industry experience, prior to joining Spoton almost a decade ago, having served with Aramex and Safexpress.
