Skyways Group recently announced promotions of some of the key people of the organisation. Involved with the organisation since long, these officials have now been elevated to key positions and their new designations in the group are as follows:

S Magesh has been associated with Skyways Group for almost 19 years and has been instrumental in the growth of the group in South India. Magesh will look at the geographical expansion of all the group companies in India along with setting up and strengthening the group’s Airfreight capabilities in our international offices.
Shankar Sawant joined Skyways Group in 2013 and has been the force behind the growth in west and central India. He will take over the role of heading the air exports vertical pan-India. He will continue to be based out of Mumbai and look at further consolidating Skyways volumes for its highest revenue generating vertical.
Sona Handa has been a part of Skyways since March 2015 and over the years displayed huge passion and determination to build the global network making Skyways as one of the most sought after brands to work with, by forwarders around the globe. As the group sets itself on a bigger growth plan in the Global Logistics (GL) vertical, she will now step into a larger role and the company is confident that she will drive GL to much bigger heights in the years ahead.
Samir Sethi has been a pillar for Skyways’ ocean freight subsidiary – Forin Container Line since he joined in January 2017. Over the last 5 years, his huge experience in revenue management and carrier relations has helped Skyways to build volumes and expand its ocean footprint across its national offices. Samir will now step forward and expand the group’s ocean freight relationships in India as well as across its international offices.
