India’s leading specialised logistics corporation, Procam Group announced the appointment of Manas Kumar Ganguly as Director of its international business division, Procam Worldwide Logistics.
Manas will be responsible for strategy devising and planning to expand global footprint of Procam Worldwide Logistics in 120+ countries. He will be based at Procam Group’s Kolkata headquarters.
Prior to his current position, Manas was COO at Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd (an 154+ year old organisation, a Miniratna Category 1 entity under Government of India).
Speaking on the appointment, TG Ramalingam, MD, Procam Group said, “We are delighted to induct Manas Ganguly as Director for our global forwarding company, Procam Worldwide Logistics. Over the last 30+ years , Manas has successfully built a very efficient business model for global freight management and forwarding, international trade, general management, business and brand development in multinational and domestic companies.”
Manas is a certified in General Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, certified in International Trade from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Qualified ICWA (I). He is Life fellow member of Charter Institute of Logistics and Transportation (CILT), shipping committee member of Bengal Chamber of Commerce (2015-2022), and Co-chairman of Logistics task Force CII -Eastern India (2019-2021).
