Sensing the gravity of the ongoing situation and therefore, maintaining its commitment to support the nation and government to the fullest extent, IndiGo set yet another new record by uplifting 20,212 kg cargo on its Airbus A320 cargo-only passenger flight from Kochi-Abu Dhabi on May 12, outpacing its previous record of carrying 19.193 kg cargo on the same route on an A320 on May 3.
Reportedly, the cargo team of the airline transported a total 70.27 CBM of fruits and vegetables with following all safety measures during the entire operation.
Commenting on achieving such a feat, Ronojoy Dutta, Chief Executive Officer at IndiGo said, “We have been successful in yet again raising the bar by uplifting 20.21T cargo on 6E 9014 from Kochi to Abu Dhabi while using our A320 passenger aircraft in ‘freighter mode’.
