IAG Cargo is updating its South Asian schedule for cargo-only flights.
The airline group announced that it would now operate an additional service to Bengaluru International Airport (BLR) from London Heathrow International Airport (LHR) with utilising a British Airway’s Boeing 777 cargo-only PAX flight, starting from August 09, 2020.
IAG Cargo is already operating three cargo-only B777 services to BLR every week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The carrier’s B777s flies to and from Mumbai International Airport daily, while its B787s lands at Delhi International Airport four times a week, and three times per week in Hyderabad.
On July 09, IAG Cargo had completed its 100th cargo-only flight out of India. To maximise capacity, the airline has been operating cargo-only flights out of the country since May 2020 in response to COVID-19 pandemic.
IAG Cargo utilises British Airways’ aircraft for all its Asian services.
