GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo (GHAC) on Thursday launched The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) Business Facilitation Center at its terminal. The FTCCI lends its support to the industry and government in promoting economic growth and cross border trade through its various programmes and initiatives.
The inaugural ceremony of the new center was done by JS Chandrasekhar, Principal Commissioner of Customs in the presence of G Seetharam Reddy, Additional Director General, DGFT (Director General of Foreign Trade), Saurabh Kumar, CEO, GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo, and Ramakanth Inani, President FTCCI.
The FTCCI Business Facilitation Center will significantly benefit the exporters and cargo agents from Hyderabad and the South Indian region in multiple ways. The exporters and cargo agents can now get the ‘Certificate of Origin’ right at the GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo Terminal thus saving lot of travel time. The center will also offer Visa Recommendation Letters for overseas travel for business promotion.
Shippers can also save time through faster documentation of export shipments, especially for perishable shipments like fruits, vegetables and marine export shipments, which are to be exported in a time-bound manner to maintain its freshness.
On the occassion, GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo also flagged off its first under 15-25 °C cool dolly transported temperature-sensitive shipment of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories. The cool dolly was flagged-off by JS Chandrasekhar, Principal Commissioner of Customs, and Ravi Prakash Mathur, Vice President- Supply Chain Management, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories amidst other members of the industry and trade.

We are also very happy to operationalise our Cool Dolly product which will help ensuring end-to-end integrity of cold chain shipments moving via GMR Cargo Terminal and offer an enhanced offering to our trade and industry partners.”
