Air One Aviation has been appointed as the global General Sales Agent (GSA) by B747-400 owning all-cargo carrier Aerotranscargo (ATC) based in Moldova.
Starting August 01, 2020, Air One will be the point of contact for any charter broker, freight forwarder and consolidator for short and long-term charter solutions and Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance (ACMI) programmes on ATC’s growing fleet.
Air One Aviation was formerly known as Chartersphere, Europe’s leading aircraft charter specialist. However, the newly formed entity will no longer be active in the charter broking market but will exclusively focus on global sales and marketing activities for Aerotranscargo and other cargo airlines. Guneet Mirchandani and Peter Scholten will be joining Air One to ‘enhance its team of aviation experts’.
Aerotranscargo is set to increase its current fleet of four Boeing 747-400 aircraft to seven by the end of August.
