The Board of Directors of China Merchants Port Holdings (CMPort) has appointed Wang Xiufeng as Executive Director and Managing Director of the company. He succeeds Bai Jingtao.
Xiufeng, a Senior Accountant and Senior Engineer, is also CEO of China Merchants Port Group.
During his career, Xiufeng served as the Chairman and General Manager of China Merchants Expressway Network & Technology Holdings and Chief Financial Officer of China Merchants Huajian Expressway Investment.
He has also held positions as a Director of Xingyun Digital Clustering (Beijing) Technology, Vice Chairman of Shandong Expressway Holdings, a Director of Henan Zhongyuan Expressway Holdings, a Director of Anhui Expressway Holdings Co Ltd and Vice President of Metallurgical Corporation of China.
Additionally, Xiufeng has previously been Chairman of MCC Jingtang Construction and the General Manager of MCC 22nd Metallurgical Construction Company.
He graduated from Northeast University with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Accounting, and obtained Master’s degree in Business Administration from Tsinghua University.
Bai Jingtao resigned from his positions as the company’s Executive Director and Managing Director “due to a change of work arrangement.”
Ge Lefu, another Executive Director of the company, has tendered his resignation “due to a change of work arrangement”.
