Martin Drew has been appointed as the new Managing Director- Cargo and Logistics by Etihad Aviation Group (EAG).
Drew will be responsible for both Etihad Secure Logistics and Etihad Cargo business. He will report directly to Robin Kamark, Chief Commercial Officer, EAG.
Drew, who has work experience of over 20 years, has been associated with Etihad for more than fifteen years, working across various senior-level positions.
Kamark said in an official statement, “Martin has a vast amount of cargo and passenger management experience and brings strategic and tactical leadership skills to support the continued growth of our cargo business. Following the significant success of our cargo division over the past two years, I am confident Martin will oversee a new era of success for Etihad Cargo and Etihad Secure Logistics.”
Drew previously headed Etihad Airways’ Global Sales Organisation across Americas and Europe, and before that served as Vice President Cargo at Jet Airways, after nine years with Etihad Cargo where he held various senior management positions between 2005 and 2014.
Drew will take over the new role from November 1, 2020, and will be based at Etihad’s global headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
