Leading global air cargo carrier, Emirates SkyCargo recently celebrated 15 years of facilitating air cargo trade operations between Vietnam and the rest of the world.

The global carrier operates six flights per week to Ho Chi Minh City and ten scheduled flights per week to Hanoi. Apart from this, the airline also operates additional charter flights to support the export needs of the market.

Exported Vietnamese commodities include apparel, medical supplies and perishables (mangoes, rambutans, passion fruit, dragon fruit and lychees).

The airline said in a statement, “Exports from these gateways (Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi) were carried to other points in Asia including Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur and then uplifted on Emirates flights to Dubai and other markets.”

In September, Emirates SkyCargo commenced a new service in Mexico to Guadalajara. It’s the second destination in Mexico and fifteenth in America.
